A home furnishings brand from the Trident Group, MyTrident has entered into a partnership with Indian Railways to supply 23 crore bedsheets for premium trains, including the Vande Bharat and Rajdhani Express. This deal would help MyTrident to expand presence in the Indian government sector.
Besides Indian Railways, MyTrident is also partnering with CSD canteens, government institutions, and hospitality chains to drive three to four times growth in the segment. The brand also plans to expand its presence in premium retail spaces and large-format outlets, and leverage digital and quick commerce channels to reach a wider audience. Another area of focus for the company this year would be e-commerce and quick-commerce, notes Rajneesh Bhatia, CEO, MyTrident.
Established in 2014, MyTrident offers products like bed sheets, towels, rugs, and bathrobes. The brand has built a strong presence in the affordable luxury segment, and is now foraying into the high-end market with the launching of a premium home furnishings range, ‘Luxe Home.' The range is currently available through the brand’s direct-to-consumer website and select stores in cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Chandigarh.
In the coming year, MyTrident aims to expand its retail operations from the current 6,500 stores to 10,000 stores across India. It plans to add 4,000 new outlets and open seven to 10 EBOs during the year.
