Dipayan Chakraborty has been appointed as the head of Analytics and Business Intelligence at Myntra. He brings in more than 16 years of IT and analytics experience as well as a decade in senior leadership positions. He is a proven leader in building and leading high-performing teams.
Chakraborty started TEG Analytics with senior partners in India and the US in 2010 and led global delivery teams across India and US. In his prior role at Flipkart, which he joined in 2015, he built and led the analytics teams for Category Management, Inventory Planning and Control, Marketplace Operations and Product Quality, Marketing, Central Planning and Fintech.
At Myntra, Chakraborty will be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics and decision sciences to help the online fashion major meet its aggressive growth targets in a profitable manner. His extensive experience in building and scaling global delivery operations and strong leadership will drive Myntra through the next phase of growth.
The key leadership hire further establishes Myntra’s strategy as a company experiencing hyper-growth under Walmart. The appointment is a strong indication of the online fashion player’s current go-to-market strategy and its plans to continue its global success. Myntra received a big boost from the investment in its parent company Flipkart from Walmart.
